Weekends are typically reserved for family, but I woke well before anyone else this morning and was able to start the second chapter of the new book. Got a couple of hundred words written before the kid woke up. Still a little slow, as I'm getting used to this world, naming characters, and trying to get the tone of the opening right.
Then it was a fairly normal Saturday. It's cold here now, with the wind chills well below zero. Grocery shopped for the week with my daughter, then came home. After breakfast we worked together to finish building a lego set she received for Christmas. The results are the image above.
She decided the story of Endor would be more exciting if the Jedi and stormtroopers were swinging from the trees. :) I'm not sure she was wrong.
Happy Saturday, all.
