Another Good Book from Ryan Kirk

A great read. Good balance between action, character development and history. This is generally tough in a fantasy novel. Looking forward to future books in this universe.

Fantasy woven through a rich tale about brothers, betrayal and fulfilling your quest when you least it expected to occur. The rites, orders and customs of monks and the scenery were on point and brought you deeper into the saga. With an evil villain you'll enjoying hating; because he's truly a fiend. It's dark and in fact relentless; but it's a page-turner that keeps you guessing to the very last page

Great story

I’ve read many Ryan Kirk books and found them to be awesome. This one was exceptional as well. Great story, great character; what’s not to love. Hopefully, there will be a second book.

This is a great Oriental/Assassin genre.

I generally do not go in for this genre, but this one intrigued me. It ended up being a hair's breadth away from not being a HEA. Good passing and back and forth between the bad guy and the not so bad guy. And was the girl loyal or not? That too went back-n-forth. Great read!!!

Just a fun story that kept me wanting more the whole time. The characters all came to life, and the ending made me want to keep reading! Always a sign of a good book
